Who We Are

Casa Marmo operates this website to provide users with information about our products and services. When you use our site or communicate with us electronically (via email, forms, or other channels), you consent to receive communications from us in the same format. All agreements, notices, and disclosures provided electronically meet the same legal standards as written communications.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our website, we collect the information entered in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After your comment is approved, your profile image (if any) becomes visible to the public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to our website, please avoid including images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site may be able to download and extract this data from uploaded images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience — so you don’t need to re-enter them for future comments. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie will be used to check if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, several cookies are set to save your login details and screen preferences. Login cookies last for two days, screen settings for one year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser containing only the post ID of the article — it expires after one day.

Embedded Content From Other Website

Articles or sections on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, or articles). Embedded content behaves as though you visited the other website directly.

These external sites may collect data about you, use cookies, or include third-party tracking. If you are logged into those websites, they may track your interaction with the embedded content.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the password reset email for security verification.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve future comments instead of holding them for moderation.

For registered users, we store personal information provided in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their information at any time (except username changes). Website administrators can also access and update this information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments on our site, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any information you’ve shared. You may also request that we delete your data, except for information required by law, administrative, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
